Situation of Xiamen Seaport In August

1.August is even more difficult to book a cabin, high freight rates, and serious delays in shipping schedules. The shipping schedule is at least delay for one week. For most routes, the shipping cost is only confirmed based on the sailing date or arrival date. Any delay of sailing may also affect the shipping cost;
2.Recently, affected by the port congestion in Xiamen Port, the operation time which given by the shipowner is becoming shorter and shorter. Some seaports only open one or two days before the cut-off time. Shippers have to pre-carrying a cabinet. Pre-carrying a cabinet means that extra cost will be incurred.
3.At present, the cabinet storage yard is basically bursting, and the cabinet fee has risen from USD200 to USD500-800;
4.Not only the seaports of Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen, Xiamen but also the seaports of congestion in whole China, what's more, the seaports of Ho Chi Minh, Manila, Chittagong, Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg etc. have not improved or eased the congestion! Owing to very low capacity of the transportation, warehouse will keeps be bursted, and then the price rises again, and the cycle continues...
